One of the main challenges was achieving a genuinely premium visual design within the structural constraints of a Shopify theme. Default Shopify themes are built for broad usability, which often means the out-of-the-box design language is too generic for a luxury fashion brand that has a specific visual identity to maintain.
Another challenge involved building product sections that remained visually balanced and responsive across all screen sizes. A layout that looked elegant on a wide desktop screen had to adapt cleanly to mobile without losing the structure or the brand feel.
Structuring the homepage to guide visitors naturally from brand discovery to product interest to purchase intent required careful planning of section order, content hierarchy, and CTA placement. Getting this flow right while keeping the design clean and uncluttered was a constant balancing act throughout the project.

To deliver the premium aesthetic the brand required, I combined targeted Shopify theme customization with a custom CSS layer that systematically refined the default styling. This approach allowed precise control over typography, spacing, colors, and section proportions without rebuilding the theme from scratch or sacrificing its stability.
